An early Thursday morning fire damaged a house in Great Bend.
The Great Bend Fire Department was dispatched to the 1200 block of Roosevelt at 1:21 AM, and the first arriving crews reported heavy smoke coming from the single-story residence, the Fire was located, knocked down and extinguished.
Other crew members searched the house for possible victims and found none, later learning there was nobody living there currently.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
