Neosho County Community College had difficulty finding its rhythm early Monday evening and was unable to overcome the deficit, falling to Redlands Community College, 64-55, at Panthers Gymnasium.

Redlands used its speed in transition and aggressive rebounding to create opportunities throughout the game, building a 41-27 halftime advantage. The Panthers played more evenly in the second half, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome. Redlands also held a 50-27 advantage in total rebounds. Neosho shot 30.2 percent from the field and 22.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Zachery Lewis led Neosho County with 12 points, while Tobi Ogunyode added 11. Miguel Villegas contributed nine points, and Jayce Cooper finished with eight.

Neosho County will look to bounce back Friday, November 6, when the Panthers travel to the Iowa Western Classic to face Iowa Western. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
