Allen softball has secured the No. 4 seed in the NJCAA Region 6 Division II Tournament, set to take place at Johnson County Community College from May 6–10. The Red Devils enter postseason play with a 20–25 overall record and a strong 13–7 mark in conference play.

In the opening round, Allen will face No. 5 seed Labette Community College, who come in at 26–22 overall and 12–8 in conference play. The two teams split their regular season matchups, with Labette taking the first game 5–3 before Allen responded with a 15–9 victory.

With a win, the Red Devils would advance to the second round to face the winner of the matchup between No. 1 seed Johnson County (33–11, 18–2) and No. 8 seed Coffeyville (16–26, 8–12). A loss would send Allen to the elimination bracket, where they would take on the loser of that same game.

First pitch for Allen’s tournament opener is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6. All games of the NJCAA Division II Softball Plains District Tournament will be streamed live on the KJCCC Sports Network as pay-per-view events.
