Work continues this week on the US 54 reconstruction project in Iola.
Planned project activities include traffic signal and streetlight infrastructure work, concrete placement at intersections and parking, and curbing installation and sidewalk grading prep work.
The first phase of a five-phase project, which relates to rebuilding Madison from State east to Buckeye, is expected to be completed in October. More information on the total project can be found at KSDOT.gov.
