Two people were injured in a Wednesday morning crash on US 169 just outside Iola.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a car driven by Matthew Brungardt of Galesburg was stopped on northbound 169 around 7:42 AM, waiting to make a left turn onto North Dakota Road when it was rear-ended by a car driven by Rylan Miller of Fort Scott.
Brungardt’s car was then pushed into the southbound lane of 169 where it was struck by a by a semi driven by Michael Endicott of Moran which went into the west ditch and rolled.
Brungardt and Miller were taken to Allen County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Endocott was not injured
