Linn County officials this morning confirmed multiple structures were destroyed last night in the path of tornadoes Monday night that stretched from south of Blue Mound to east of Pleasanton.
Minor injuries were also reported from the storm.
County staff are conducting damage assessments throughout the day to evaluate the full extent of the impact, as emergency responders, utility crews and public works personnel work to repair infrastructure and clear debris. They are asking residents to stay clear of affected areas while this work is going on.
As part of this, a service center has been set up at the Sugar Valley Clubhouse at 53 Northeast Fairway Driver, where Red Cross and local officials will be on-site to provide support and resources to those affected.
