Allen County is under a temporary burn ban because of hot, dry and windy conditions. The ban took effect Monday at 1 p.m. and prohibits outdoor burning in the county’s unincorporated areas, including controlled burns, grass and brush burning, campfires and fireworks. The ban will be reassessed when it expires at 11:59 p.m. on September 7.

A burn has ban been enacted for Allen County. The ban began at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, and will remain in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2.
