Hutchinson Central Christian High School graduates Piercen Huff and Konnor Sullivan were among several area athletes selected to participate in the 2026 Kansas Eight-Man Football Association Division II All-Star Game Saturday at Trojan Field in Beloit.
The Eight-Man Division I All-Star Game starts at 10 a.m. and the Eight-Man Division II All-Star Game kicks off at 1:30 p.m.
In addition to Huff and Sullivan playing for the West squad in the Division II All-Star Game, Central Christian football coach Matt Barnett will be the Division II West head coach.
According to a press release from Central Christian on Facebook:
“This honor reflects the hard work, dedication, and leadership that Piercen and Konnor have demonstrated throughout their football careers, as well as coach Barnett’s commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
“Join us in congratulating these Cougars as they represent Central Christian and compete alongside some of the top eight-man football talent from across Kansas.”
Other area Eight-Man II stars playing for the West team are Fairfield’s Brodie Snodgrass and Chase Combs, St. John-Hudson’s Braxton Alpers and Stafford’s Dylan Brozek.
The Eight-Man I East squad features Jackson Konen and Kelby Rice, Little River; Collin Dent, Kas Kremer and Reece Krone, Ell-Saline; and Landon Daniels and Rylan Siemsen, Central Plains.
In 2025, the West Division I All-Stars defeated the East 72-0 and the East Division Division II All-Stars won 58-0.
