An educational workshop, often hosted by universities (like K-State) and Extension offices, designed for cattle producers to learn about managing beef cattle reproduction, especially difficult births (dystocia) and newborn calf care, to improve herd health and live birth rates through practical skills, demonstrations with models, and guidance on when to intervene or call a vet. These sessions cover normal calving, obstetrical assistance, colostrum management, nutrition, and equipment use, preparing producers for calving season.
