Due to rainy weather forecasted on Saturday, the 2026 Wamego High School Invitational cross country meet will take place Friday at the Wamego Country Club.
Some of the schools competing are Andale, Buhler, Hutchinson Trinity Catholic, Ellinwood, Hillsboro, Marion, McPherson, Moundridge, Smoky Valley, Southeast of Saline and St. John-Hudson.
The Wamego Country Club is the host site for the Kansas Classes 4A, 2A and 1A state cross country meets scheduled for Oct. 31.

8:30 a.m. Class 4A Girls (Varsity and JV combined)
9:00 a.m. Class 4A Boys (Varsity and JV combined)
9:30 a.m. Class 1-3A Girls (Varsity and JV combined)
10 a.m. Class 1-3A Boys (Varsity and JV combined)
