The Sterling High School varsity girls tennis team captured the first-place team title at the Great Bend Invitational Saturday at the Shannon Schartz Tennis Court at Great Bend Veterans Park.
Sterling won the team title with 65 points. Hoisington and Garden City tied for second place with 42 points, followed by Wakeeney-Trego with 32 points, Liberal 30, Great Bend 26, Ellinwood 23 and Dodge City 20.
