Southeast of Saline opened the game with a 4-play, 75-yard drive to score in 54 seconds. That set the tone for the Trojans as they won 55-6.
Southeast of Saline (SES) was led by SR quarterback Tiernan Ptacek who had 132 yards rushing, completed 10 passes for 179 yards. Ptacek rushed for 2 touchdowns, threw 3 TD passes to 3 different receivers and kicked the only PAT they attempted.
Zander Young scored the lone TD for Lyons on a 55-yard run. SES rushed for 291 yards and threw for another 197 yards. Lyons was held to 180 yards of offense.
Lyons is now 1-1 and will travel to Salina to face the Sacred Heart Knights next Friday in a NCAA contest.
