Pretty Prairie High School placed three runners in the the top 10 and five in the top 20 in the varsity girls 5K race at the Wellington Invitational Saturday.
Lauren Detter and Amity White placed fourth and fifth with times of 24 minutes, 40.08 seconds and 24:47.84. Teammate Halli Yoder placed seventh in 25:20.18.
Ava Goerimg finished 15th, 27:15; Brennan Schrag, 17th, 27:25.47; and Adyn Anderson, 28th, 29:37.83.
The Pretty Prairie girls placed second with 35 points. Pratt placed first with 24 points. Goddard was third with 78 points and Udall fourth with 89 points.
Malachi Goering led the Pretty Prairie Bulldog boys cross country team with a 17th-place effort, posting a time of 22:02.78.
Eli Young placed 22nd, 22:53.8; Lucas Miller, 23d, 23:04.56; Zac England, 28th, 23:30.27; and Michael Ramirez, 37th, 24:09.74.
The Pretty Prairie boys placed third with 101 points. Goddard finished first with 40 points and Pratt placed second with 50.
