Runners from Prairie Hills Middle School, Hutchinson Trinity Catholic and Hutchinson Central Christian participated in the 7th and 8th grade boys and girls races at the Buhler Invitational Thursday at Prairie Ridge Cross Country Park in Hutchinson.
Prairie Hill’s Wyatt Wichert captured first place in the 8th grade boys 2-mile race with a time of 11:34.2.
Prairie Hills finished second in the 7th grade girls 1.5-mile race team standings, second in the 8th grade boys 2-mile races and second in the 8th grade girls competition.
Hutchinson Trinity placed third in the 8th grade boys 2-mile division.
Prairie Hills placed third in the 7th grade boys 1.5-mile team competition and Central Christian placed seventh.
