The Inman Teutons, ranked No 2 in Kansas Class 2A, posted a 41-0 shutout against Marion Friday at the Inman High School football field.
Inman quarterback Malachi Brunk scored on three touchdowns runs (two 1-yard runs and a 7-yard run) and ran for a 2-point conversion. Braxton Malloy scored on TD runs of 28 and 18 yards. Noah Herndon scored on a 22-yard TD run.
Inman outgained Marion in total yards 342-131 (285 yards rushing and 57 passing for Inman, 73 passing and 58 rushing for Marion).
Brunk rushed for 66 yards and passed for 57. Malloy rushed for 125 yards on 11 carries. Korbyn McClellan rushed for 62 yards and Herndon 26. Jayce Jennings caught 3 passes for 27 yards.
Malloy led the Inman defense with 8 tackles.
Inman (2-0) plays a showdown game at Sterling (2-0) next Friday and Marion hosts Hutchinson Trinity.
