The Nickerson High School and Reno Valley Middle School cross country team competed at the Pratt-Skyline Invitational on Saturday.
The Nickerson boys placed third out of 11 teams and all of the Panther high school girls runners earned medals.
“What a fantastic day of competition,” said Nickerson cross country coach Dan Brinkley. “Our runners put on an incredible display of hard work and determination. Special shoutout to Aiden Brinkley, Cooper McConnell, Carson Voeller, and Michael Cota for setting brand new Personal Records (PRs).
“Thank you to all the parents and administration for your constant support. Congratulations to all of our athletes for their outstanding efforts today.”
The Nickerson and Reno Valley cross country teams will compete at the St. John Invitational at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Stafford Country Club.
