Mulvane High School swept the top awards on the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches Class 4A All-State Team released on Tuesday.
Mulvane’s Grey Sanders was named Pitcher of the Year, Parker Chubb is the Player of the Year and Steve Nelson is the Coach of the Year.
McPherson middle infielder Carter Bengtson was named to the First Team. Bullpup pitcher Cru Buchman was named honorable mention.
Sanders and Chubb were joined on the First Team by Mulvane outfielder Hays Ensley. Mulvane’s Manny Myers made the Second Team and Grady Myers was named honorable mention.
Making the First Team from Pratt were outfielder Caleb Strong and utility player Josiah Schmidt. Pratt’s Cresten Pore was the Second Team designated hitter.
