McPherson, Kansas – The McPherson Bulldogs Volleyball team showed how dominant they can be in a big win over Central Christian College of Kansas on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs traveled across town to take on the Tigers in the 2026 Collegiate Cup, where they remained a perfect 18-0 all-time against Central Christian.

How it Happened
The Bulldogs came out hot, scoring the first eight points of the first set. McPherson dominated the rest of the set, winning 25-5. Central Christian kept things close at the start of the second set, but the Bulldogs quickly pulled away, winning the second 25-10. McPherson kept things rolling in the third set, cruising to a 25-11 win and sweeping the Tigers for McPherson’s first Collegiate Cup victory.
Enya Fierens led the Bulldogs offensively with 11 kills, followed by Miriam Maino with seven and Havana Olander with five. Defensively, Maino and Kaylee Stegora each had five blocks. McPherson racked up 41 kills with an impressive .474 hitting percentage while CCCK had 14 kills and hit -.104 on the night.

The Bulldogs return to action next Wednesday, September 16, when they travel to Lawrence, Kansas to take on Haskell Indian Nations University. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m.
