Lauren Detter, 4×800 Relay Set new Pretty Prairie Girls Track Records

Pretty Prairie’s Lauren Detter placed second in the Kansas Class 1A girls 1600-meter run with a new school record (5:18.32) and placed third in the 800 (2:22.23) at the Kansas State Track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday at Wichita State University’s Crossland Stadium.

The Pretty Prairie girls 4×800 relay team of Amity White, Brennan Schrag, Halli Yoder and Detter placed fourth with a new school record (10:05.8).

Kayleigh Vogl placed seventh in the triple jump with a new school record (35-9.25).

Amity White placed ninth in the 3200 (12:31.96) and 15th in the 1600 (5:52.2).

The Pretty Prairie boys 4×800 relay placed 12th (8:52.32).

The Pretty Prairie girls tied for 12th place with 21 points.
