NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Soccer Poll | NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Soccer Poll
CHARLOTTE, NC – Ahead of the start of the 2026 NJCAA men’s soccer season next week, the NJCAA has released its 2026 men’s soccer preseason polls with five Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams appearing inside the top 15 of their respective preseason polls.
Included in the rankings are all three NJCAA men’s soccer national tournament qualifiers from the KJCCC last year, with Cowley College leading a pack of three conference teams to hold top 10 rankings. The Tigers will enter the 2026 season ranked number three in the preseason poll after advancing to the NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Soccer National Semifinals last year, finishing the 2025 campaign with a 16-2-1 record. Barton Community College gives the KJCCC a second team ranked in the top 10 of the preseason Division 1 poll, entering the season ranked number seven after going 17-5-2 last year and making an appearance in the National Tournament where they went 1-1-0 with a win over Blinn College. Joining both the Tigers and Cougars in the Division 1 rankings is Dodge City following a strong season last year under now third-year head coach Juan Espinal, with the Conquistadors ranked number 14 in the preseason poll and looking to build off last year’s 9-5-3 record.
In the NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Soccer preseason poll, Neosho County is ranked number eight, the highest-ranked team from the conference after making a second-straight appearance in the NJCAA Division 2 men’s soccer national tournament. Last year’s NJCAA Region 6/9 Tournament Champion Johnson County is ranked number 12 in the 2026 preseason poll, finishing last year with an 11-6-4 record and an appearance in the Plains District Tournament Championship game.
The first NJCAA Men’s Soccer polls of the 2026 regular season are scheduled to come out on Tuesday, September 8th, following the opening three weeks of the regular season, which will begin Thursday, August 20th. Following the release on the 8th, polls will be released Weekly on Monday afternoons throughout the regular season and run through Monday, October 26th, ahead of the start of the postseason.
