(KJCCC) May 11, 2024 — The final field of eight is set for the Region 6 baseball tournament in Eck Stadium on the Wichita State campus,
Dates for the tournament are May 15-19.
Sunday, May 19 will only be used for a second championship ‘If” game.
Six teams (Johnson County, Kansas City KS, Butler, Cowley, Barton, and Hutchinson) won their best-of-three opening series two games to none on Friday. Both Cloud County and Dodge City secured their spots in Wichita on Saturday by winning game three of their series.
The tournament pairings for opening day, Wednesday, May 15:
10am – Dodge City vs Cowley
1pm – Barton vs Hutchinson
4pm – Johnson County vs Butler
7pm – Kansas City KS vs Cloud County
The first three days of the tournament have game times of 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm.
