Inman Teutons Dominate Sedgwick Cardinals 71-0

The Inman Teutons led 57-0 at halftime and rolled past the Sedgwick Cardinals 71-0 Friday night at Sedgwick.

The Teutons scored three touchdowns in the first quarter and added five more in the second quarter.

Braxton Malloy registered his first 100-yard rushing game at the varsity level, reeling off touchdown runs of 35, 45 and 33 yards. Quarterback Malachi Brunk ran for two TDs (51 yards and 1 yard), passed for four TDs and ran in a 2-point conversion.

Korbyn McLellan caught TD passes of 79 and 58 yards and caught a 2-point conversion pass. Cayden Gaeddert caught a 15-yard TD pass and kicked five extra points.

Jayce Jennings caught an 11-yard TD pass. Jasper Jones capped the Inman scoring on a 4-yard TD run.

Bunk completed 6-of-10 passes for 199 yards an rushed for 75 yards on 5 carries. Malloy rushed for 162 yards on 8 carries. McClellan caught 2 passes for 137 yards,

Inman outgained the Cardinals 479-133 in total yards. The Teutons had 199 yards passing and 280 rushing. Sedgwick was held to 77 passing yards and 55 rushing yards and committed 3 turnovers (1 fumble and 2 interceptions).

Gaeddert led the Inman defense with 13 tackles, including four tackles for loss (TFL). Gage Sisson had 7 tackles, Bo O’Neil 6 and Cohen Liebelt 6.

Inman will host Marion next Friday. Sedgwick will play a road game at Moundridge.
