The Hoisington High School volleyball team posted a home sweep of Haven 2-0 (25-7, 25-3) and St John 2-0 (25-12, 25-15) Tuesday night at the Hoisington Activity Center.
St. John defeated Haven 2-0 (25-18, 25-18) in the other match of the triangular.
The Hoisington Cardinals, ranked second in Kansas Class 3A in the latest Kansas Volleyball Association coaches poll, improved to 10-0.
Hoisington plays Hillsboro and Larned iTuesday at Larned.
St. John-Hudson, ranked seventh in Class 1A, improved to 7-3. The Tigers play Medicine Lodge and Garden Plain at 5 p.m. Thursday.
St. John competes in the Kiowa County Quad Tuesday against Kiowa County, Meade and Ashland.
The Haven (2-6) varsity squad hosts the Coleman Classic Volleyball Tournament on Saturday while the junior varsity competes in the Conway Springs JV Tournament.
