The Hesston High School varsity volleyball team went 2-0 during a Central Kansas League triangular Tuesday at home and improved to 11-3 overall.
Hesston, coached by Jessanna Schumann, defeated Haven 25-11, 25-12 and Halstead 25-20, 25-20. Halstead defeated Haven 25-17, 25-13.
Halstead is 9-3 and Haven is 4-10.
Hesston plays Smoky Valley and Larned in a CKL triangular on Tuesday at Lindsborg.
Halstead plays Hillsboro and Nickerson in a CKL triangular Tuesday at Nickerson.
Haven plays a CKL dual at Hoisington on Tuesday.
The Hesston junior varsity on Tuesday defeated Halstead 25-18, 25-23 and Haven 25-19, 25-15. No score was available on the Halstead-Haven JV match.
