It was a Friday night thriller in Haven, as the Wildcats outlasted Pratt 42-41 in overtime to remain unbeaten at 2-0.
The two teams traded blows early, with Pratt and Haven deadlocked at 13 after one quarter, before the Greenbacks took a 28-27 lead into the fourth; Haven answered with eight points in the final quarter to force overtime, then outscored Pratt 7-6 in the extra period to claim the one-point victory.
Haven quarterback Brogan Wray completed 14 of 28 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns, while Cole Brawner was a major factor on offense with 114 rushing yards on 23 carries.
Haven (2-0) will host Hillsboro next Friday and Pratt will host Hesston.
