The Halstead High School baseball team swept a home doubleheader from Hillsboro/Peabody-Burns Friday night 12-2 (Game 1) and 10-7 (Game 2).
The Halstead High School softball team also swept Hillsboro Friday at Halstead 9-8 (8 innings Game 1) and 11-1 (Game 2).
It was “Strike Out Cancer Night” for the Halstead softball team. Donations were collected at the softball doubleheader for Victory in the Valley Inc., a non-profit in Wichita dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families.
