The Great Bend High School varsity girls tennis team swept all 12 of its matches at the Great Bend Quad Tuesday at Shannon Schartz Court in Veterans Memorial Park.
Great Bend Panther tennis players swept first place in all four divisions and posted 3-0 records: Paige Stacy, No. 1 singles; Olivia Loera, No. 2 singles; Brooklyn Reynolds-Maddie Siefkes, No. 1 doubles; and Addie Hart-Olivia Boone, No. 2 doubles.
In singles championship matches, Stacey defeated Beloit’s Samantha Thompson 8-6 and Loera defeated Hays High’s Angela Feyerherm 8-7 (7-5).
In doubles. Siefkes-Reynolds defeated Dodge CIty’s Katie Rouse-Marisol Banuelos 8-6 and Boone-Addie Hart defeated Beloit’s Kate Pearson-Kolbee Bergman 8-6.
Great Bend placed first in the team standings with 30 points, followed by Beloit 13, Hays High 9 and Dodge City 8.
