The Great Bend Bat Cats baseball team split a doubleheader Monday night at Rose Hill High School against the Performance Factory Phenoms.
Great Bend (20-6, first place Jayhawk Collegiate League) lost the first game 7-6 and won the second game 6-3.
The Bat Cats rapped out 18 hits en route to a 9-2 victory over the Haysville Aviators Sunday at Plagens-Carpenter Park in Haysville. Ben Smith and Lane French were the pitchers for the Bat Cats.
Great Bend plays road games against the Newton Rebels Wednesday and Thursday at Klein-Scott Field in Newton. The Bat Cars play another road game Friday against the Junction City Brigade at Rathert Stadium in Junction City.
The Jayhawk Collegiate League All-Star Game is Saturday at Hobart-Detter Stadium in Hutchinson.
The Bat Cats host Junction City at 3 p.m. Sunday at Al Burns Memorial Stadium in Great Bend.
