Bullpup Girls Soccer Defeats Wichita-Classical, Draws with Wichita-Trinity to Close Regular Season

McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson High School Girls Soccer team finished their regular season on Thursday, May 14, drawing with Wichta-Trinity Academy 0-0 after defeating Classical School of Wichita 5-0.

The Bullpups defeated Wichita-Classical thanks to a hat trick by Becca Lulloff, scoring one goal in the first half and two in the second half. Addison Shaft and Allison Randa added a goal as well.

The regular season finale on Thursday resulted in a 0-0 draw, McPherson’s first draw of the season. Ellie Herrera made 13 saves while McPherson’s offense had nine shots on goal.

McPherson’s regular season ends with an 11-4-1 record. McPherson’s season included winning the AVCTL Div. 3-4 title, going a perfect 7-0 in league play, outscoring their league opponents 43-2. The Bullpups will await their fate for Regionals, as they will finish as the No. 3 seed in the 4-1A West Regional standings. Seeding and matchups for Regionals will be announced on Saturday, May 16.
