Rylan Unruh finished 5th in the Singles tournament, and Jonas Emery / Mason Eisenbarth finished 3rd in the Doubles, earning All-League honors. Cooper Bohme finished 7th in Singles, and Hayden Siemens / Jack Boese finished 7th in Doubles.

Wichita Collegiate won the league event with 60 points, sweeping the individual titles in the Singles and Doubles tournaments. McPherson had 43 to finish as runners-up, just eight points above Buhler. Winfield, who won the 4A State Title in 2025, placed 4th.

“Our league tournament is always a great measure of where we stand against some of the top teams in the state,” head coach Tyler Brown said. “Competing in a league that includes programs like Wichita Collegiate, who consistently compete for and win state titles, and Winfield, last year’s 4A state champions, shows just how challenging it is to come out on top.”

McPherson will now prepare for Regionals on Friday, May 8, which will take place at McPherson High School. “If we can qualify all six players for state, I believe this team has the potential to be in contention on day two of the state tournament,” Brown said.
