Buhler High School junior Ryan Cherry placed second in the varsity boys 5K Blue Division at the Rim Rock Farm Classic cross country race Saturday in Lawrence.
Zayden Mendenhall placed 56th, 18:42.35, followed by Noah Napier, 101st, 19:25.45; Joel Penrose, 111th, 19:34.31; Christian Vaile, 125th, 19:42.66; Logan Johnson, 129th, 19:45.98; and Derek Petz, 174th; 20:11.6.
Graham McCarty placed third in the JV Boys Blue Division with a time of 19:45.84 and Landes Little finished ninth with a time of 21:00.52.
Buhler’s Corbin Starkweather placed 11th in the Varsity Girls Gold Division with a time of 19:29.82, followed by Isabella Friesen, 64th, 21:09.44; Kambria Brown, 69th, 21:18.3; Isabella Rivera, 91st, 21:52.56; Hannah Dick, 103rd, 22:06.15; Brooklyn Beals, 120th, 22:39.01; and Aneesa Courson, 145th, 24:11.47.
Emma Smith placed 41st in the JV Girls Gold Division with a time of 23:50.53, followed by Haylee Kinast, who placed 72nd in 25:39.91
