Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce Little River High School senior as this week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Hutchinson Community College.
The week – Konen represented the West team in the Kansas 8-man Football All-Star Game in Beloit. Playing in the Division 1 game, Konen recorded 12 total tackles, including eight solo tackles.
The season – Konen had a great season for a Little River team that went 9-2 and advanced to the Eight-Man Division 1 quarterfinals. Konen, the quarterback, threw for 801 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 702 yards and 14 touchdowns. Defensively, Konen recorded 56 tackles, four interceptions and one quarterback sack.
