Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce this week’s Athlete of the Week as Connor Fowler, Fairfield High School senior quarterback.
The week – Fowler represented the West team in the Eight-man Division 2 all-star game Saturday in Beloit. Although the West team lost, Fowler started at defensive back and had a solid game, recording several tackles.
The season – Fowler helped revive the Falcons in the fall, which saw Fairfield go 4-5 and qualify for the postseason, the Falcons’ best season since 2014. As quarterback, Fowler threw for 376 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for 936 yards and 12 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 95 tackles and five interceptions. He will attend Pratt Community College, where he will study to be an electrical lineman.
