Area Student Athletes Wrap Up State Skeet Shooting Tournament

KECHI, Kan. – Prior to the big State High School Trap Shooting Tournament this upcoming weekend, local student athletes from Little River, Hillsboro, Sterling, and Remington High Schools competed in the State Skeet Shooting Tournament.

The athletes competed in the 1A tournament Thursday, June 12 in Kechi. Neither school managed to place due to not having enough athletes to be in team competition, but all schools still had a strong showing.

Triplains School District won the 1A title, finishing ahead of Southwestern Heights and Circle.
