RENO COUNTY, Kan. — The county owned Woodie Seat Bridge over the Arkansas River, and the city owned infrastructure located north of the bridge, south of Avenue C, will be closed to all through traffic beginning Monday, Sept. 18 for road and bridge infrastructure repair until further notice. A detour as shown above, will be provided for traffic to follow.
It was indicated earlier this morning that they may have the road/bridge open right before Christmas, with another closing in the spring. Updates will be given as it gets closer to that time.
Also in Reno County, there will be traffic controls on Wilson Road near Willowbrook starting Monday as construction of a new bridge to Willowbrook begins. The current bridge will remain open until the new one is finished.
