Winter Energy Bill Financial Relief Application Now Open

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. is encouraging Kansans that are struggling to afford their winter heating bills to take advantage of one-time federal assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) available through energy providers across the state. The deadline to apply for this financial relief is March 31.

“Families are paying more this winter to heat their homes, but there are programs out there to help families in need. I encourage Kansans to use the federal resources available to them, such as LIHEAP, to help with winter energy costs.” Senator Marshall said.
