YATES CENTER, Kan. (June 6, 2025) — Repairs at the Yates Center water plant have been completed and everything is back to normal.
YATES CENTER, Kan. (June 5, 2025) — A large water leak has prompted the city of Yates Center to ask community members to use water sparingly.
The city said the leak is between the reservoir and water plant, and because of it very little water is coming into the plant.
In a Facebook post this afternoon it was recommended residents may want to fill some pitchers up for backup.
