HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education set some sort of record in their Monday evening meeting, which lasted maybe 3 ½ minutes. Superintendent Dawn Johnson was not present for the meeting.
In that time, the board approved memorandums of understanding with the Buhler, Haven, Inman and Nickerson-South Hutchinson school districts for the Parents as Teachers program for 2025-26 and with Hutch Rec for the Summer Stay to Play program at Graber Elementary, and renewal of business software licensing and support for another year.
The board approved administrative, principal and director contracts for the 2025-26 school year, with one exception after as part of a personnel report it accepted the resignation of Faris Elementary Principal James Moffett at the end of the school year.
