RENO COUNTY, Kan. — A two-month investigation by the Reno County Drug Enforcement Unit and Hutchinson Police Special Operations unit has led to the arrest of two persons on fentanyl distribution charges.

On Wednesday a traffic stop was made on a vehicle occupied by Andrew Ward and Realiti Dawn Courson, and after that vehicle was searched warrants were obtained for Ward’s residence.

A search of the residence turned up fentanyl pills also with methamphetamine, marijuana and distribution and use paraphernalia.

Courson is free on bond while Ward is being held on a $33,500 bond pending filing of charges, expected next week.
