Twice Told Tales Selected as One of 600 Booksellers to be Recipients of Patterson Holiday Bookstore Bonus

McPHERSON, Kan. — Libby Monaghan, Owner and Operator of Twice Told Tales in McPherson announced on Facebook Wednesday that she was one of 600 booksellers from across the nation who received one of bestselling author James Patterson’s $500 holiday bonuses.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by such an incredible author and advocate for the literary world,” Monaghan said. “James Patterson went through over 3000 nominations from all corners of the book community – customers (that’s you–so many of you!), owners, employees, managers, fellow booksellers, publishing professionals, and even authors.”

Monaghan expressed her deepest gratitude to everyone who nominated her.

“As a bookseller and small business owner, it’s no surprise that I don’t rake in the big bucks, and your support means the world to me,” Monaghan said. “Each nomination is a testament to the beautiful community we’ve built together, and I’m so thankful for every community member who took a moment to share their kindness.”
