The McPherson Chamber of Commerce celebrated with a ribbon cutting for the Tiffany Neel American Family Insurance Agency on Wednesday, April 1st at 118 N. Ash. Chamber Ambassador Austin Russell welcomed guests, and Michele Graham, Chamber Board President‑Elect, highlighted Tiffany’s path to agency ownership before presenting the First Dollar of Profit.
Tiffany shared her diverse background—12 years as a city clerk, ownership of a restaurant, food truck, and her home‑based bakery Sugar Dealer—and how her desire to better understand her own insurance policies sparked her interest in the industry. “My goal is to help people truly understand what their coverage includes,” she said.
After gaining experience at an American Family agency in Hutchinson, Tiffany seized the opportunity to purchase her own book of business. Her daughter Lexi joins the team as the first face customers will see.
City Administrator Austin Regier expressed the City’s enthusiasm, noting the long‑standing presence of American Family in McPherson and excitement for its continuation.With the ribbon officially cut, the Tiffany Neel American Family Insurance Agency is open for business. American Family offers home, car, farm, life, renters, business, and umbrella policies, currently serving 19 states with plans to expand nationwide. Tiffany emphasized the company’s reliability, especially following recent hail events: “We always pay our claims… clients are returning after realizing that doesn’t always happen everywhere.”
