McPHERSON, Kan. — The ReUse It Center is wrapping up 2025 surpassing its donation goal for the year.

“I’m truly amazed at how far we’ve surpassed last year’s accomplishments,” said store manager Shulah Neff. “This year, we were able to donate $108,250.00 to local nonprofits!!”

After looking at the year’s progress, Neff said they realized that an additional $60,000 could be donated.

“None of this would be possible without two essential groups: our incredible volunteers and our loyal shoppers,” Neff said. “Our volunteers work tirelessly to fix, repair, clean, and price items, all while providing outstanding customer service and helping customers in the store. Quite simply, we wouldn’t exist without them.”

The dedicated shoppers who support the store each week are equally important to Neff.

“They believe in our mission to serve our community and shop, knowing their purchases directly fund local nonprofits that provide critical services to those who need them most,” Neff said. “Being able to support and empower these nonprofits is the most rewarding part of my job. I can’t wait to see what goals we’ll surpass in 2026!”
