Teenagers, adults, and children from all around come to see The Grinch this time of year. Seeing Santa is a tradition in many families, but it’s a special treat to see The Grinch as well. Whether someone is on the naughty or nice list, visiting The Grinch is a fun activity. The Grinch is quite a character, and many children love him.

“My kids are big fans of The Grinch, so we decided to come and check it out,” Cody Riggs, a parent, said.

Some parents and families have experience with the holiday season and the Cosmosphere’s events, especially around Christmas. Santa is a fun character to see as well.

“We came and saw Santa as well,” Riggs said.

Local events are essential to the Hutchinson and Reno County communities and bring families and citizens together. The Cosmosphere holds a wide variety of events and has something for everyone.

“It’s essential to just get people out here to see what the Cosmosphere offers and bring new people out to see things,” Riggs said.

Some people need only a little push to get into the holiday spirit, and for others, it takes a lot to get into the Christmas mindset. Some families are always ready for Christmas.

“ My kids are always pretty much in the holiday spirit,” Riggs said.

The Grinch is a fun character, and the Cosmosphere is quite different from Whoville.

“They’re a lot taller here,” The Grinch said.

The food in Hutchinson is very different from Whoville, and the Grinch would take some home if he could.

“I would steal barbecue, they don’t have it where I live…I live in a cave, so there’s no barbecue,” The Grinch said.

The Grinch is definitely on the naughty list and has some sound advice for children and families who want to be on the nice list.

“It’s not fun staying on the nice list, you should be on my list, the naughty list,” The Grinch said.

Whether someone comes from Whoville or Hutchinson or anywhere else, The Grinch is a must when it comes to family holiday traditions. Santa is a good holiday tradition, too, but the Grinch may be more fun.
