HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Temporary traffic signals are set to be installed at 20th & Main and 23rd & Main by Aug. 30, 2024, in preparation for the upcoming Kansas State Fair.
According to a statement from the City of Hutchinson, the temporary traffic signals will be set to flash mode from Aug. 30 to Sept. 6. This will provide motorists some time to adjust to the upcoming changes in traffic control, as well as allow them time to familiarize themselves with the new signal placements in case they need to adjust their daily route.
The traffic signals will be set to regular operation mode from Sept. 6 to Sept. 20. They will be removed by Sept. 24.
