Tabor Baseball splits doubleheader with York

HILLSBORO, Kan. – After being delayed by a day, Tabor Baseball opened their KCAC series against York with a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon. With mild winds and crisp temperatures, it served as a great day for some early spring baseball.

  • With the loss, the Bluejays fall to 12-11 on the season and 8-4 in conference play
  • The game marks the 56th all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to 1995
  • Tabor owns a 35-21 record in the all-time series

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

  • Eric Calder led the team offensively with three RBIs, including one homer in the bottom of the 8th inning
  • Jared Mack also homered in the bottom of the 8th, also sending Easton Norris in to score
  • Wyatt Bauer struck out a team-high 10 batters
