Suspect Sought in Pedestrian Hit and Run in McPherson October 30th

McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — McPherson County Crimestoppers is asking for your help in a connection with a hit and run accident on the Kansas Avenue Bridge over I-135 the night of Oct. 30.

The vehicle involved is a tan Nissan Altima, tag number not immediately known but according to witness reports has damage to the front passenger side quarter panel and is missing the passenger side mirror and wheel liner.

A video of the incident taken by another motorist indicated the person was pushed into a concrete barrier, with the vehicle slowing momentarily before speeding off from the scene. The person struck was shaken but conscious when passersby stopped to help.
