Summer Camp Opportunities Available Through the Hutchinson Zoo

SHARE NOW

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Looking for a great outdoor learning opportunity for your kids this summer? Sign them up for the Hutchinson Zoo’s summer camp program.

This summer the zoo is transforming your kids into Ecosystem Explorers. Campers will explore a different ecosystem every day of camp through fun activities, zoo tours, and animal meet & greets.

Camps designed for students aged kindergarten through fifth-grade start in June and run through July.

For older kids, Zoo Teens is a great opportunity for high school students to begin building their own resume fit for the zoology field.

Two types of Zoo Teen experiences are available:

Jr. Counselors

These Zoo Teens will inspire our summer campers this season by aiding our teachers in zoo tours, crafts, animal encounters, and so much more!

Jr. Keeper

These Zoo Teens will work with animal care staff to help create diets, clean exhibits, feed animals, and discover the daily life of zookeepers.
