UPDATE: Statewide Silver Alert Canceled for Missing Wichita Man

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Police Department reported to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) that Joseph Hanby has been located safe. The Statewide Silver Alert is now canceled.


 

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Wichita man.

The whereabouts of 70-year-old Joseph Hanby are unknown and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him.

Hanby was last seen the morning of Feb. 19, near 1025 N. Main St., at Second Light. He is believed to be on foot.

Hanby is a white male who is around 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 215 pounds. He has white hair, hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans.
