HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson shared a reminder to be mindful of recent changes in traffic with the fair beginning Friday, Sept. 6, 2024.
- State Fair Road (Main Street to Plum) is closed to through traffic and will stay that way until the fair wraps up.
- Poplar Street (Crescent to 20th) will be one-way northbound from today until the fair ends.
- Plum Street (20th to 23rd) will be closed daily from 8 AM until fair close.
- Traffic lights at 20th/Main and 23rd/Main will be turned on Friday morning and will stay on for the duration of the fair.
- No parking signs are going up today – enforcement will start on Friday.
Please be aware of pedestrians in the area as everyone heads out to enjoy the fair!
