Did you feel the earth shake and ripple on Wednesday?
According to the U.S. Geological Survey a small earthquake shook Central Kansas on September, 16 at 4:50pm.
Scientists say the earthquake measured 2.9 in magnitude and was centered 3.1 miles southwest of Assaria, near the northern edge of McPherson County.
Multiple posts on Facebook confirmed the quake was felt in Lindsborg, and Assaria and sounded like thunder or like something struck the foundation of buildings.
No one was injured and no damage has been reported.
